What is separation anxiety?
Separation Anxiety is an anxiety disorder among puppies and dogs in which a genuine panic attack occurs when a dog is left alone. There is likely a genetic predisposition and it can be triggered by a move, divorce, arrival of a new baby, death of a family member, a sudden change in routine or just the normal process of aging.
Without treatment, SA will worsen over time. Treating the condition requires time and patience, but with a success rate of over 73%, there is hope! With our individualized training protocol, we will help show your dog how to relax and enjoy his alone time.
